I know Chi-town...My first thought is always a FLGS. I know Chi-town area has them, but that many of them are large enough that getting table space is interesting at best. Players' homes are usually my next suggestion. <br /><br />I also see workplaces as interesting options- for quite a while, my husband's game group was meeting in the back room of a local pancake restaurant where one of the group members worked, at the OK of the owner. <br /><br />I've seen parks (which won't work in the fall/winter of Windy City very well) and museums as well- but a good option might be a church. Many of them have all purpose rooms that are well appointed with chairs and whatnot.
