Linguists and Maps with SNES

Check it out here.  Basically it's mapping out the different pronunciations of the Nintendo Entertainment system and it's super descendent.  I have a soft spot for linguistics when it comes to regional terms and accents.  

Two posts in one day?  It happens.

    Anyone over the age of 40 probably pronounces it Playstation :o)

    I'm British but according to that map I'm somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic, cos I've always said Ness and Snez (Sness is too phlegmy). Saying the entire thing sounds slightly fin de siecle -
    "I say my good friend, would you care to retire to the parlour to engage in a riveting bout of Street Fighter II Turbo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System?"
    "Indubitably! One shall masquerade as Cammy."
